What Is EBSU Cut Off Mark?
It is a specific mark which all Ebonyi State University Abakiliki applicants should meet in JAMB and Post UTME in order to qualify for being offered admission into the course of their choice.
EBSU Cut Off Mark 2024/2025
The management of the Ebonyi State University Abakiliki has made an official announcement to the general public and all aspiring students that the school has set her cut off mark for 2024/2025 academic session at 140 and above.
Therefore; all aspirants or candidates who wish to be offered admission into the Ebonyi State University Abakiliki (EBSU) must possess a JAMB score of 140 in the 2024 JAMB examination.
It is to be noted that anyone who score below the specified mark is not going to be offered admission.
EBSU Cut Off Mark For All Courses 2024/2025
The Ebonyi State University (EBSU) set the cut-off mark for all courses at 140 for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This simply means that all applicants of Ebonyi State University Abakiliki (EBSU) must have a JAMB score of 160 to be qualified for the next admission step.
EBSU Departmental Cut Off Mark 2024/2025
Below is the Ebonyi State University Abakiliki (EBSU) departments and their cut off marks respectively;
Faculty of Medicine
- Medicine and Surgery is pegged with a JAMB score of 260.
- Anatomy is 180.
- Physiology is 180.
2. Faculty of Health Science and Technology
- Nursing Science – 260.
- Medical Laboratory Science – 250 or above.
3. Faculty of Law – 240.
4. Faculty of Management Science
- Accountancy/Accounting – 180
- Public Administration – 150.
- All other Management courses is 140 and above.
5. Faculty of Social Science and Humanities
- Mass Communication is 200.
- Political Science is 170.
- Economics is 160.
- All other courses is 140.
6. Faculty of Science
- Computer Science is 200 and above.
- Applied Microbiology and Biochemistry has 160 and their cut off mark respectively
- All the remaining Science courses is 140 and above.
7. Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management
- Food Science and Technology is 150 and above.
- All other courses under this faculty, is 140 and above.
8. Faculty of Education
- All courses under this faculty is 140 and above
EBSU Admission Requirements
If you intend to apply for admission into Ebonyi State University Abakiliki, kindly take note of the following;
- Possess a minimum of five (5) O’ level (SSCE) credits each in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology with the appropriate subject combinations in the 2024 JAMB UTME
- Make Ebonyi State University Abakiliki (EBSU) as your first choice of Institution in JAMB
- Be at least 16 years old

How To Calculate EBSU Aggregate Score
To Determine your aggregate score, your JAMB score will be added to your Post UTME score and Divided by 2 which will give you your average or aggregate score e.g if your JAMB score is 140 and your post UTME Score is also 140, then it will be (140+140)/2 = 140.
