The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) held the annual policy meeting today 8th July, 2025 at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja. The aim of the meeting was to deliberate on the various cut off marks for Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Nursing.
The aim has been met and reading below will get you informed on the latest decision made by JAMB on the cut off marks for 2025 Admission.
From the conclusions drawn from the meeting, JAMB has raised the minimum admissible cut off mark from 140 as used previously to 150 for this session.
Here are the snapshots of how the cut off marks for 2025 admissions is;
- All Universities = 150 and above
- All Polytechnics = 100 and above
- All College of Education = 100 and above
- All Colleges of Agriculture = 100 and above
- All College of Nursing = 140 and above
Earlier this year after the release of the JAMB results, there were some technical glitches and this contributed to the development and the raising of this cut off mark in one way or the other.
Candidates eagerly waiting for admission for the 2025/2026 academic session are advised to wait and see the specific cut off mark for their choice of institutions before making a decision.
