About Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU)
Olabisi Onabanjo University is a state-owned institution of higher learning Located in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria.
It was established as Ogun State University (OSU) on July 7, 1982, the university changed its name to Olabisi Onabanjo University on May 29, 2001, in recognition of Olabisi Onabanjo, who, as Ogun State’s civilian governor at the time, made significant contributions to its founding.
The university is still frequently referred to by its original acronym, OSU, by many students.

OOU General Admission Requirements For All Courses
For you be considered for admission into the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), you are advised to meet the following requirements:
- Have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
- Have minimum JAMB score of 160 in the recent JAMB Exam.
- Have a good score in the OOU post UTME Exam.
- Have a merit pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and other advanced level certificates (DE Candidates only).
