What Is The BUK Course Registration Portal?

The BUK course registration portal is an online portal created for all fresh and returning students of Bayero University Kano (BUK) to access and register their courses for both first and second semester for the 2022/2023 academic session.

All fresh and returning students are hereby advised to visit the BUK Course Registration Portal which which is accessible at www.mybuk2.buk.edu.ng and register their courses as soon as possible.

How To Register Courses In BUK Course Registration Portal

Below are some guidelines you will have to follow if you want to successfully register your courses in the BUK Course Registration Portal:

Step 1 : Authentication

All students including fresh and returning are to authenticate their studentship in Bayero University Kano before they can start their registration process and that is the first thing they need to do.

All Fresh Students needs the following:

Admission Letter Serial Number
JAMB Registration Number
BUK Registration Number

Note : username and password will be given once they provide the details above.

All Returning Students needs the following:

BUK Registration Number
Last Session Username
JAMB Registration Number

Note : username and password will be given once they provide the details above.

Step 2 : Login

Both fresh students and returning students can login using their respective username and password given to them after the successful authentication from the previous step.

Step 3 : Course Registration Procedures

Below are the all the procedures you will have to follow to register all your courses for both first and second semester:

Procedure 1 : Updating Your Profile:

You’re required to update your profile first before you proceed further with the registration. Take note that the profile updating is mainly about your phone number and email as used in your BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).

Procedure 2 : Generating Of S.I.F (Student Information Form)

After you have successfully updated your profile, then you should proceed to print and download your S.I.F (Student Information Form) in PDF File.

Procedure 3 : Generating Of BUKPPF (BUK Personalised Payment Form)

At this stage, you will have to generate, Print and Download your BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).

Your registration fee is going to reflect in the BUKPPF and you will have to take it to any bank to pay or pay online through Remita. Also make sure everything is correct because there’s no refund after payment.

Note : you can validate your payment later in the portal by clicking the “check payment status” button seen at the payment page.

Procedure 4 : Downloading Of S.P.R (Student Payment Receipt)

It is very compulsory for you to generate, print and download the S.P.R (Student Payment Receipt) as you’re going to submit it during your Departmental and Faculty documentation and to be able to continue with your registration online.

Procedure 5 : Registration of First And Second Semester Courses

You can proceed to your course registration but before that, make sure you contact your Level Coordinator on the courses you’re supposed to register for both first and second semester in order to avoid quality mistakes.

Procedure 6 : Downloading Of C.R.F (Course Registration Form)

Make sure you generate, print and download the C.R.F (Course Registration Form) because it contains the details of all your first and second semester courses.

Procedure 7 : Downloading Of R.A.S. (Registration Acknowledgement Slip)

Make sure you generate, print and download the Registration Acknowledgement Slip (R.A.S) which will acknowledge that you have successfully completed your BUK registration process.

Procedure 8 : Hostel Accommodation

If you’re interested in having a hostel in BUK campus, then you should proceed and apply for hostel bed space. A link will be sent to you to continue payment for the Hostel bed space. You only have 12 hours to do that if not it will be revoked.

General Warning!!!

Make sure you consult your level coordinator to guide you through out the registration process because if you fail to do so, you will have to face any mistake you make after the registration.

From the information passed by the management of the Bayero University Kano (BUK), the BUK registration portal 2023 deadline is set at August 10, 2023. Therefore new and returning students are advised to quickly register as soon as possible to be on the safe side.
